Today during class we switched seats. Then we began talking about our homework which is to read chapter 7 for Thursday, while we are reading we have to think about how Fitzgerald builds or releases tension during…Tom and Daisy's house (opening/closing) and Driving to /from the city. After talking about the homework Mrs. Kopp came in to talk to us about a new honors elective called Tomorrow's Teachers. In this class you will talk about the ins and outs of teaching for example she will teach you how to write a lesson plan , grade tests etc. Toward the end of the class, around spring time, each student will drive to another school in the Sparta district to help teach a class. This class will help you decide whether or not teaching is for you. When Mrs. Kopp left we checked out www.NoRedInk.com. This website is to help you with punctuations but it is designed so that it uses sentences from your favorite TV shows or movies which makes it more interesting. For example I chose the TV show 'Friends' the website made up sentences about each character and then you had to add a common, capitalize or even change a work/ statement in a sentence.
